Who We Are
Foster Adoption Welding, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization created to empower foster and adopted youth through skilled trades education — with a focus on welding and metal fabrication.
We exist because too many young people aging out of foster care or growing up in adoptive environments face limited access to career pathways, mentorship, and financial stability. Welding offers a powerful alternative: a hands-on trade that builds confidence, discipline, and pride while providing real earning potential.
Through welding scholarships, hands-on fabrication projects, and one-on-one mentorship, we help young people develop both technical skills and personal resilience. Our approach combines education with real-world experience so students graduate with more than a certificate — they graduate with purpose and direction.
At Foster Adoption Welding, we believe opportunity is forged through effort, support, and craftsmanship. Every weld represents not just a skill learned, but a future strengthened.
